För ett tag sedan visade jag er några mineralskuggor från Glamour Doll Eyes, och det blev många "oohh aahh" över den metallicröda skuggan Lovers Lane. Här är den på ögonen!

I lördags firade jag halloween med några vänner, en vecka tidigt, vilket ju är skitbra inspiration för er som inte firat ännu!

Jag körde på en klassisk mumie-look med skulpterad blek hy, lite dammig spindelväv i ansiktet och tusen meter tyg lindat runt kroppen. Jag har tyvärr inte orken/tiden att göra en tutorial på makeupen (jag visade samma makeup här när jag testade den för några dagar sedan, och då var det många som ville se en tutorial), men det är väl egentligen bara såhär jag gjort:

1. Vit flytande foundation blandat med en skvätt av min vanliga foundation i ansiktet.
2. Pudra ansiktet med en vit ögonskugga.
3. Skulptera fram kindben, ögonhålor osv. med svart matt skugga.
4. Lägg till dimension och färg med hjälp av en mörkbrun, lila och senapsgul matt skugga.
5. Damma över solpuder för att ge lite mer "ökenlook".
6. Sätta fast spindelnätet med hårnålar, pudra mängder löspuder över som damm, och sedan lindar du in dig i trasor.

This saturday I celebrated halloween with some friends, a week too early, which is awesome inspiration for you who haven't celebrated yet!

I went for a classic mummy look with a sculpted pale complexion, some dusty spiderwebs on my face and like a thousand metres of cloth wrapped around my body. Sorry but I haven't got the energy/time to sit down and do a tutorial for the makeup (I showed you the same makeup here when I tried it on a couple of days ago, and many of you wanted to see a tutorial) but this is basically what I did:

1. White liquid foundation mixed with a dab of my regular foundation on my face.
2. Powder my face with a white eyeshadow.
3. Sculpt cheekbones, eye sockets and such with a matte black shadow.
4. Add some dimension and colour with a dark brown, purple and mustard yellow matte shadow.
5. Dust some bronzer on for that "desert look".
6. Add the spiderweb with bobby pins, powder loads of loose powder on top as dust, and then wrap yourself up with cloth.

Trasorna är en gammal gardin jag rivit upp och färgat med utspädd hårfärg och kanel för en smutsig look.

The cloth is an old curtain that I ripped up and dyed with diluted hairdye and cinnamon for a dirty look.

Såhär såg naglarna ut. Någon nudefärg (minns inte vilken) med fakeblod målat längs nagelbanden. Blodet är gjort på mjöl, soja och rödbetsspad.

This is how my nails looked. Some nude colour (don't remember which) with fake blood along my cuticles. The blood is made of flour, soy sauce and beetroot juice.

Idag plockade jag fram Sugarpill-skuggorna jag visade er igår och testade vad de går för på ögonen. Tok-intensiva är vad de är! Det var helt klart för dålig ljus för att fota nu, men det låtsas vi inte om.

Today I got the Sugarpill shadows I showed you yesterday out and tried them on the eyes. Crazy intense is what they are! The light was definitely too bad to take pictures now, but let's not think about that.

Petals to the Metal

Igår var jag utan varmvatten hemma och hade seriöst sug efter att sminka mig, men kände mig inte så taggad när jag inte kunde tvätta bort det noggrannt senare. Så jag har gått och hållit fingrarna i styr ett dygn innan jag kunde få sätta denna idé i verket, ögonskuggan Petals to the Metal från Too Faced tillsammans med det fina glittret Peacock från Lit Cosmetics. De är inte bara alldeles underbara för sig själva, utan även ett utmärkt par!

Yesterday I had no warm water in the house and at the same time I really felt like doing my makeup, but I didn't feel like it when I couldn't wash it off well later. So I've walked around a whole day thinking of getting this idea done, combining the eyshadow Petals to the Metal from Too Faced with Peacock glitter from Lit Cosmetics. They are not just beautiful on their own, they're also a perfect couple!

Jag frågade lite kort på Facebook igår vad ni ville se för makeup framöver, och ovan har ni de nyckelord jag plockade ihop från det ni önskat! Jag utbrast att avgrundsbröl till "neeeeeeeeej" inombords när ni önskat en cut crease, det ser både ganska kasst ut på mina ögon och så gillar jag inte att göra dem. Just därför tog jag mig an idén, så ni får ta det med en nypa salt! Glittret skickade söta MarinaMake mig för ganska länge sedan, äntligen har jag kommit mig för att använda det! Givetvis blev typ alla bilder skitdåliga idag, men ja, ni förstår ju poängen i alla fall.

Och läpparna, hallå! Alsfbffdbkjjbkdfl vad snygg den här kombinationen är. Glosset och stiftet är från IsaDoras höstkollektion Forest Groove (en awesome kollektion i helhet, SPANA IN), applicerat över en penna som drar lite mer mot lila. Den andra bilden ger läpparna mest rättvisa. Visst ser de ut som björnbär?

I asked on Facebook yesterday what makeup you wanted to see today, and in the title you see the keywords I picked up from your wishes! My whole brain went "noooooooo" when you wished for a cut crease, it honestly looks quite bad on my eyeshape and also I don't really like doing them. That's why I got into it, so you'll have to take it with a pinch of salt! Sweet MarinaMake sent me the glitter quite long ago, finally I've come around to using it! Of course most pictures looked crappy today, but well, you get my point atleast.

And the lips, ey! AKfsdflgvkfdbkdfbfk this combination is so nice. The gloss and lipstick are from the IsaDora fall collection Forest Groove (an awesome collection in all!), applied on top of a pencil that pulls a bit more towards purple. The second picture gives the lips most justice. Don't they look like blackberries?

Naked eyes

Des önskade en makeup där jag kombinerade Smog, Darkhorse och Toasted från Urban Decay Naked-paletten, och den tanken tog jag vara på. Jag har nu alltså Toasted på hela ögonlocket, Darkhorse i globlinjen och Smog under ögat + duttat mitt på ögonlocket. Jag fuskade bara lite och adderade en guldskimrig skugga som highlight under brynet och i ögonvrån, eftersom jag är lite för ljus för att använda några av Naked-skuggorna som highlighters. En sak som tål att upprepas: Fasen vilken bra palett.

På läpparna har jag ett kolasnörefärgat gloss från MAC-kollektionen Semi-Precious jag inte kommit sådär skitbra överens med tidigare, nyansen kändes lite fel för att vara jag. Men se, många komplicerade produkter kräver bara sin rätta matchning. 1-0 till mig!

Des wished for a makeup look where I combined Smog, Darkhorse and Toasted from the Urban Decay Naked palette, so I went for that idea. I'm wearing Toasted all over the lid, Darkhorse in the crease and Smog in the lower lashline + dabbed on the middle of the lid. I cheated a little bit and added a golden shadow for highlight under the brow and on the inner corner, because I'm a bit too fair to use any of the Naked shadows as highlighters. One thing that's worth saying once again: Heck, this palette is good.

On my lips I'm wearing a toffee coloured gloss from the MAC Semi-Precious collection that I didn't get that well along with earlier, the shade felt a bit strange to suit me. But look, most complicated stuff just needs the perfect matching to look good. 1-0 for me!

Simple silver

Som utlovat, här är makeupen från igårkväll. Dök hem en kort sväng och tvättade bort det blekrosa och persikofärgade sminket för att ersätta med grått, tämjde mitt kaotiska hår och drog på mig en långklänning i svart istället. Skööönt! Plötsligt var jag på banan igen.

Makeupen var himla simpel, kändes bra så. Spex är inte alltid det roligaste liksom. Jag målade en gråsilvrig kajalpenna runt hela ögat och suddade ut med fingrarna, målade sen innanför fransraderna och på med mascara. En dutt rosa läppstift och lite korallfärgat cremerouge på kinderna. Lite grunge-flirtigt sådär.

As I promised, here's my makeup from last night. I got home a quickie and washed off my pale pink and peach make up to replace it with grey, tamed my wild hair down and slipped into a black long dress instead. Felt soooo good! Back on track to say the least.

The makeup itself was really simple, felt good to not overdo it. Sometimes it just looks better when you keep it simple. I sketched a silvery grey kohl pencil around the eye and on the waterline and smudged it with my fingers and then applied mascara. A dab of pink lipstick and some coral creme blush on the cheeks. A flirty grunge look all in all.

Idag fick jag ett infall och lekte runt med lite skuggor och fransar. Det blev lösfransar både uppe och nere den här gången! De övre fransarna (Red Cherry) är gudomliga. Lätta att sätta fast och är riktigt mjuka. Köpte mina över Ebay men de går att hitta i tusen olika webshopar. De undre.. URGHHH!! De sprättade loss sjutusen gånger och ser mest bara fula och plastiga ut. Borde ha satsat på några bättre fransar. Dessa kom från KKCenterHK.

Today I went crazy with some eyeshadows and lashes. I applied false lashes both on top and bottom this time! The top ones (Red Cherry) are amazing. Easy to apply and the bands are really soft. Bought mine on Ebay but you can get them from like a million other web shops. The lower lashes.. URGGHHH!! They fell off like seven thousand times and they just look ugly and plastic-y. Should have went for some better lashes. Those were from KKCenterHK.

Många av er hör av er och undrar om jag inte kan göra lite balsminkningar, det är jättekul att ni önskar särskilda teman! Jag ställer mig däremot lite tveksam till hela "balmakeup"-konceptet. På balen ska man gå som sitt allra snyggaste jag, och vad du passar bra i vet ju faktiskt inte jag förrän jag står framför näsan på dig! Som vanligt finns det inga regler.

När du hittat en look du gillar så är det bara att öva in makeupen. Ställ dig framför spegeln och lägg den några gånger innan balen så du är säker när det gäller på riktigt!

Many of you contact me wondering if I could do some prom make up looks, it's great to hear you wish for special blog posts! I'm having some problems accepting the whole "prom make up" concept though. At a prom you should arrive as the hottest person you can be, and I don't know know what suits you before I'm standing in front of you! There are no rules at all, as usual.

Dare to let go of the rules for what make up to wear at for which event, when you feel good with your look you're hottest at the whole place! Just take a look below.

When you've found a look that you like it's time to practice the look. Get in front of the mirror and do the make up look a couple of times before the prom so you're good at it when it's time for real!

Hectic

Ikväll blev det sotat med gröna Hectic från Make Up Store och silvriga Gunmetal från Urban Decay. Jag gillar att undvika svart i sådana här makeuper emellanåt, att låta fransarna vara det enda kolsvarta och hålla resten i mörkgrått. Det ger sotningen en lite annan touch sådär. I övrigt är sminket rätt neutralt, bronsade kinder och nudeläppar för att inte konkurrera för mycket med ögonen.

Tonight I'm wearing a smokey eye with a green eyeshadow called Hectic from Make Up Store and silvery Gunmetal from Urban Decay. I like keeping the black away from make up looks like this one sometimes, letting the lashes be the only pitch black thing and keep the rest dark grey. That gives the smokey eye a different touch. Apart from the eyes the make up is quite neutral, bronzed cheeks and nude lips to keep focus on the eyes.

Idag blev det turkosblått med paletten Blue Had Me At Hello från Wet n Wild! Jag använde också det fina rouget från KIDE MSCHIC jag snackade om igår. Toppenlook! Önskar att jag orkade sminka mig såhär oftare.

Några av er ville se hur ögonbrynspennan från Deborah nämnd här ser ut på ögonbrynen, så jag testade den härom dagen. Detta är alltså en ögonbrynspenna i tuschpenneform, låter ju inte allt för naturligt tänkte jag redan på förhand. Det hade jag helt rätt i. På bilderna nedan har jag bara använt nyans nr 2 och fyllt i hela brynet rakt av.

Resultatet hade troligen blivit bättre på mig om jag använde en ögonbrynsskugga och sedan endast duttade lite med "tuschpennan" där extra definition behövs. Men sen vet jag ju att det finns en massa tjejer där ute som gillar såhär definierade bryn, och då är ju detta en höjdarprodukt. För sitter som attan gör den också.

Some of you wanted to see how the Deborah eyebrow marker mentioned here looks on the eyebrows, so I tested it the other day. So this is an eyebrow pencil that works like a marker, doesn't sound quite natural I thought when I first held it in my hand. I was so right. In these pictures I've just straight off filled my brow in with shade number 2.

I guess I would have gotten a better result if I used an eyebrow shadow at first and then dabbed the eyebrow marker on just where I needed some extra definition. But I know there's a lot of girls out there who like eyebrows this defined, and for you this would be a great product for you. It's got great lasting power too.

I have no clue where to get this brand outside of Sweden, check their website maybe?

Så okej, ögonbryn i seriefigursstil. Kanske inte det mest naturliga, men inte vill man väl alltid ha naturligt? Nej fan, kasta på en riktig cartoon-makeup istället så känns brynen inte alls malplacerade längre. Lite kul ska man ha också! Sen måste jag ju erkänna att jag inte helt och fullt minns vad jag använde till den här makeupen, det som står listat är det jag minns.

So okay, cartoon-y eyebrows. Maybe not the most natural result, but why go for natural all the time? Hell, throw a cartoon styled make up look on instead and the brows don't feel odd at all anymore. Have some fun! I must admit though that I don't fully remember what I used for this look, so what's listed is what I can remember.

Idag blev det lite lila! En rödtonad nyans som denna är perfekt för att framhäva gröna ögon. Plus att det är en bra färg att satsa på om man vill ha något roligt till vardags men ändå vill se representabel ut. Lila förvånansvärt lättburet. Om man vill sota till den här looken ytterligare så är det bara att måla en mörklila eller svart kajal i ögat istället för vit.

Today I'm wearing purple! A reddish shade like this is perfect if you want to enhance green eyes. Plus it's a great colour to go for if you want something fun for everyday but still wanting to look a bit neutral. Purple is surprisingly easy to wear. If you want to smoke this look up a bit more you can just apply a dark purple or black kohl pencil on the waterline instead of white.
